General programme:
1st day
Arrival at Białowieża, checking in, dinner
2nd day
After breakfast we set off on a bicycle trip and visit the Białowieska Glade (wooden architecture of Białowieża, buildings of the former Tsar`s Freight Train Station, where there is the Tsar`s Restaurant now, educational path “Puszczańskie Drzewa”, which leads to the Show Reserve, The European Bison Show Reserve, the Royal Oaks and Lithuanian Princes Trail in the Old Białowieża). Return trip through the Village of Pogorzelce.
3rd day
After breakfast we set out on a bicycle tour on a following route:
Białowieża - Jagiellońskie - Jagiellońska Road- Insurgents Camp from 1864 - Place of Power - Czerlońska Road - Czerlonka - Budy - Teremiski – The Old Białowieża - Pogorzelce – Białowieża / 32 km /
It is a trip for persistent cyclists, which leads through forest tracks and asphalt roads:
- the place of insurgents camp from 1864
- The Place of Power / mysterious place with strong energetic radiation/
- interesting villages hidden in the forest / Budy, Czerlonka, Teremiski/
- a beautiful corner in the Białowieża Forest called “Osada Zwierzyniec” with interesting park
- a private open – air ethnographic musem in Budy
Dinner
4th day
After breakfast we set out on a bicycle tour, which leads on the Narewskowska road to Kosy Most and then to Masiewo and Janowo. We discover the wildest backwoods of the Stricly Protected Area “Hwozna” with the Wolves Trail, panorama view on the Narewka River Valley in Kosy Most and the Tsar`s Tropina by bicycle or on foot. After the visit in Janowo and lunch we come back to Bialowieza by car or bus. The bicycles are left in the safe place in the guest house “Bialowieskie Ustronie” in Janowo.
5th day
After breakfast we go by car or by bus to Janowo. Next we go canoeing in two-man canoes from Narewka to Lewkowo Stare. Then we continue our bicycle trip from Lewkowo to the Waliczowka Valley following the Narewka River Valley from the perspective of the road. The last section of the trip leads from Narewka to Bialowieza on the Narewkowska Road. Dinner in Bialowieza.
6th day
After breakfast we go to Hajnowka by bicyle (there is a possibility of transport of bicycles and people). At 10.00 we departure to Topilo by narrow-gauge train. In Topilo we visit forest ponds, an exposition of the old narrow- gauge train, a forest chapel. After that we come back to Bialowieza through the Bialowieza Forest. Dinner in Bialowieza.
7th day
In the morning hours we can go on a walking tour with a tour guide to the Strict Reserve (3hours) and then after breakfast check out and come back home.
Service included: Bike rental for 5 days, transport of people on the following route: Bialowieza-Janowo-Bialowieza, 6 nights in the guest house, 6 breakfasts, 6 dinners, a tour guide to the Strict Reserve.
There is a possibility of changing the order of these points. We also offer to take following plan into consideration: 4 nights in Bialowieza and 2 nights in the guest house “Bialowieskie Ustronie” so that you can get to know the northern part of the Bialowieza Forest better
